So like many moms I wasn’t at my “ideal weight” when I got pregnant. I had gotten down below my first pre-pregnancy weight when Jovie was a little over a year. I finally got serious about losing the rest of the baby weight from that pregnancy when I had a back injury and physical therapy & losing any extra weight were necessary.
Then work switched to a new computer system and many of us ate through our stress and I put on 10 pounds or so, and then we were pregnant again. So I had to give up weight watchers for the next 9 months (they don’t want you intentionally losing weight while pregnant). But I knew I’d get back to it.
Today my Sweet Pea is one week old. 🙂 I’ve lost 20lbs of baby weight and I’m wearing REAL jeans! With a waistband and everything!! Ok, so I have to leave the top button undone, and I’m wearing a bella band– but the hips & thighs fit! Wah hoo!!
So I consider this a starting point. I’ve signed up for weight watchers again, so hopefully between that & breast feeding and running around after Jovie- more will continue to melt away!
My goal is to be more toned & fit all over. I want to keep up with my girls!!
